Habursky most recently served as the Assistant Vice President of Advocacy at the Independent Community Bankers of America where he was named to The Hill’s Top Lobbyist list and AssociationTRENDS 2019 Top Association Lobbyist. Josh previously worked in government relations roles with the American Diabetes Association and American Motorcyclist Association and is currently an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
Habursky is widely known for specializing in grassroots campaigns having founded and chaired the Grassroots Professional Network in 2016. Josh provided grassroots consulting services for IPCPR for the past year for federal campaigns on cigaraction.org

The “Meet in the Middle” Cigar Show is a combination of a cigar review and a cigar herf. The show is comprised of three presenters, Leander, Hyacinth and Mark. Each week they review one cigar in an episode with three fifteen minute segments.

As a special celebration of this episode entitled, “Meet in the Middle Meets Gary Korb” there will be several cigar giveaways for viewers who have subscribed to the newsletter. Viewers are encouraged to get the cigars and smoke them during the episode.
“We like when the audience tries them at the same time we do, and there will be plenty of treats going out on this one. We do three giveaways per episode, but with Gary coming in, we want to step it up and do more,” said show presenter, Leander McClain, who announces the giveaways for newsletter subscribers.

Gary Korb who has been a marketer with Famous Smoke Shop since 2001, began writing and editing content for CigarAdvisor.com when it debuted in 2008. As an avid cigar enthusiast, Gary has posted a massive amount of content on social media and the Cigar Advisor site. Korb is an avid cigar smoker for over 30 years, during the past 14 years he has worked on the marketing side of the premium cigar business as a Sr. Copywriter, blogger, and cigar reviewer. A graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, prior to his career in the cigar business, Gary worked in the music and video industry as a marketer, and later as the publicist for a talented young guitarist named Joe Bonamassa.
“Gary is all over the place, I’ve been following him since CA started. I was browsing YouTube when we started the show and found a video where Gary did a singing cigar review and I thought, we have to get this guy on the show.” said Mark Swanson, one of iROBUSTO site ambassadors.

New interactive cigar website, iROBUSTO, will be reviewing cigars from “New World” countries as well as Cuba. The reviews will range from newcomers in the industry to established brands.
On March 1st, the newest cigar site to hit the industry will be launched with claims to be an interactive “two-way experience” for its users.
A spokesperson for the company states, “We’ll be driven by community recommendations and will reward them with new concepts in content and promotions. There will be a place on the site that will let them, submit some ideas and if we choose theirs, we’ll send them some free cigar goodies. It’s all about replying to their comments and being social in a communicative sense not just blasting them constantly with one way broadcasts.”
Reviews for brands such as Flor de Las Antillas, Alec Bradley and Trinidad are done and as of February 21st have already been posted on the site in the its pre-launch phase. There are plans to add new anecdotal cigar categories and “Live Online TV Shows” to the company mix. The featured cigars will not only be the more established brands, there will be a focus on new brands that offer exquisite tastes to the market. iROBUSTO seeks new and old cigar companies to contact them so their product lines can be featured.
“Right now, things are blowing up for us. The contact box is getting requests for us to promote and we’re getting a lot of options. I’m focusing on working with the companies who do the social thing right like Cigar Harvest and these guys out of New England Don Valles. The fact is we found each other on G+ and rather than spam our wall, they came in and interacted with the community and showed they had something to offer other than an egocentric approach to their business” said Mark Swanson, a personality on the site.
