IPCPR 2019 | Foundation Cigar Co.

Foundation Cigar Company has consistently put out great cigars since the company’s inception. At IPCPR 2019, they had one new cigar as well as a Lancero addition to a highly-rated blend and the introduction of an event-only cigar to regular production. Nick Melillo, owner of the company, gave us a closer look.

Highclere Castle Victorian

Foundation Highclere Castle Victorian

One of our most anticipated cigars of IPCPR 2019 was the Highclere Castle Victorian. The original Highclere Castle was released in 2017 and was named CutLightSmoke’s #1 cigar of that year. It was blended to be a replication of cigars enjoyed at Highclere Castle 100 years ago. The Victorian is a new blend with all the same sizes as the original.

Foundation Artwork

Foundation Cigar Co. deserves a special shout-out for all the original artwork present in their booth each year at IPCPR. This year, they had a similar booth as last year with new paintings displaying different things and people involved in the process of making a cigar. They also added a giant pyramid symbolic to the company’s logo.
