Previously unavailable to the public, Perdomo has recently released their Factory tour blends. The Perdomo Factory Tour Blend Maduro cigars were offered to visitors that viewed their factory in Nicaragua. The Factory Tour will be available in three wrapper options, Sun Grown, Connecticut and Maduro, with four sizes in each blend: a 5 x 52 Robusto, 6 x 52 Toro, 6 1/2 x 54 Torpedo and 7 x 52 Churchill.
The Sun Grown version uses all Nicaraguan tobacco featuring a wrapper from Nicaragua’s Jalapa Valley and a binder from the Condega Valley. The fillers are from Estelí Valley. The Factory Tour Maduro keeps the same blend but uses instead a maduro wrapper from Jalapa.
Those who like milder cigars may want to try the Factory Tour Connecticut which uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Jalapa Valley binder and filler from the Estelí Valley.
The MSRP is between $6 and $7.50 per cigar
Cigar Review | Perdomo Factory Tour Blend Maduro
Upon first light, I experienced tobacco with a slight bit of charcoal. The strength is pretty mild with some peppery strength revealed on the retrohale. As the flavor unfolds, it has a little sweetness with some white pepper and is mild-medium in strength. This cigar reminds me of the dark, fruity sweetness that you get after drinking a grape soda. Throughout this smoking experience, there was an underlying sweetness that would not dissipate. This along with the medium strength makes this a very mellow and enjoyable cigar.
This cigar is very well blended and is also recommended for the new cigar smoker that is looking to try the Maduro.
