Cigar News | Muestra de Saka Unicorn Shipping, iROBUSTO to Review

If you are in the loop on cigar news, you’ve likely heard of the newest addition to the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka line. It’s called the Unicorn – a proper name for such a rare cigar. The cigar carries a hefty MSRP of $100, and it’s shipping this week to the company’s Select Purveyors who place an order in January.

Steve Saka, owner of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, originally posted a teaser about the cigar on social media and created quite a buzz in the industry. He wanted to create a cigar with no expense spared. After hand sorting through 6,000 pounds of the best Broadleaf wrapper available to select only the best of the best, this beautiful cigar was born. Originally, Saka said this cigar may never be released and even expressed regret for posting about it after such an onslaught curiosity from consumers.

It turns out, he’s releasing it after all. The Muestra de Saka Unicorn comes in one size, a 6 1/4 x 60 Double Perfecto, and is packaged in individual coffins. Less than 1,000 cigars are available. Did we mention it’s $100?

Our very own CutLightSmoke got his hands on a couple through a charity auction, and he will be reviewing the blend in a few weeks after the cigars rest a short period. Stay tuned to iROBUSTO to see if this high-dollar, super-premium cigar lives up to the hype!
